2. Session 01 - 02 SeptDuring our first meeting, we’ll discuss why we’re here, outline our roles & expectations, review the syllabus & schedule, and conclude with a historical overview of Cognitive Psychology. |
3. Session 02 - 09 SeptAfter providing a brief a historical overview of Cognitive Psychology, this module examines key aspects of perceptual processing, beginning with how we recognize visual objects and the roles of top-down processing and specialized recognition systems. It then turns to auditory perception, particularly speech, highlighting how these processes transform raw sensory input into usable information for higher-level cognition like reading. |
